Polhawan
Like some mythical meeting between Fairport Convention and Parquet Courts, Polhawan is a strange but familiar marriage of influences from both sides of the Atlantic. A new, more enigmatic guise, from veteran songwriter Tim Rowing-Parker (Woahnows, Immy), it surfs a fine line between folk and slacker-rock, all the while finding a fresh voice between these disparate traditions.
Their new record “Wild Mountain Time’ will be released on the 14th may via Breakfast Records (Getdown Services, Langkamer)

Ice Baths
London-based four-piece Ice Baths (Diogo, Ed, Tom, and Alex) make a long-awaited return after a short hiatus brought on by the global pandemic, which resulted in two canceled European tours and an unfinished second album.
Prior to this, the band had been on a strong run following the release of their self-titled debut album in 2018 and their follow-up Decadent Sprinter EP, both of which were released on the esteemed (but now defunct) London imprint Blank Editions. These releases saw the band join a heavyweight roster that includes the likes of Thurston Moore, Black Country, New Road, Housewives, Douglas Hart (The Jesus and Mary Chain), Ben Vince, and more.
Over the past few years, Ice Baths have shared stages with the likes of Crack Cloud, H-Grimace, Squid, HMLTD, Autobahn, Ulrika Spacek, Phobophobes, Drahla, and more—playing shows across the UK, including London’s famous 100 Club, The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, The Old Hairdresser in Glasgow, and performing live on Tom Ravenscroft’s BBC 6 Music show.
Sonically, Ice Baths take influence from cult heroes such as Swell Maps, Television Personalities, This Heat, and US Maple—all restless energy and angled aggression, which manifest live as droning bowed guitars and frenetic shifts in mood and dynamic
