An Evening with Dan Whitehouse & Luke Wallace

  • The Prince Albert Rodborough Hill Stroud, England, GL5 United Kingdom (map)

From The Whitehouse presents…

Two captivating voices. One powerful night of music, story, and connection.

Dan Whitehouse is an award-winning UK artist living between Tokyo and Wolverhampton - a singer-songwriter, composer, producer, spoken word performer and community workshop leader, renowned for his reflective, genre-defying artistry. Born in the heart of the Black Country, the home of heavy metal, Dan’s music is rooted in pop and rock sensibilities and embraces the living poetry of spoken word. “I write folk songs, but not folk music,” he says. Featured on Folk On Foot, his acclaimed albums The Glass Age and Voices From The Cones explore communication in our screen-fixated society, and commemorate the glassmaking communities of Stourbridge. His immersive live show A Night Of Glass weaves story and song into a mesmerising experience, moving audiences with nuanced, crystalline vocals and emotionally rich performances.

Joining Dan for this double header is Canadian singer-songwriter, choir facilitator and environmental activist Luke Wallace, who has taken the stage at some of the US, Europe and Canada’s biggest folk festivals and venues. Luke has also performed his heartfelt, purpose-driven songs to delegates from over fifty nations at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, is a partner founder of Canada’s annual Youth Climate Action Award and his songs are currently being sung by over eighty choirs across the world including the Grammy-winning choir, Tonality.

Together, Dan and Luke promise an unforgettable evening of soul-stirring music, shared humanity, and transformative storytelling.
