"With shades of Joanna Newsom's dynamic originality, Elanor Moss has a stark subtlety that bowls you over in its intensity...." - CLASH
"The biggest secret weapon in British folk right now" - Far Out Magazine
Off the back of tours with the likes of Foxwarren (Andy Shauf), Flyte, and Christian Lee Hutson, Elanor Moss has just released her debut album The Knife, The Needle via Merge Records. Recorded live to tape over the course of two days, the album evokes the starkness of artists such as Sibylle Baier, and the poetic sensibilities of psych-folk greats before her. A strange and shadowy record of quiet epiphanies.
Now with added support from Scottish songwriter and saxophonist Matthew Herd. Matthew writes for and performs with Seafarers, an acclaimed group of six long-term musical collaborators, who have been described as spanning the worlds of indie rock, chamber pop, and jazz.
