Tihs is a PAY WHAT YOU FEEL gig, and we ask you be generous when the ‘hat’ comes around. Some artists are able to take card payments.

This April, two rising voices in the UK’s alt-folk scene Jon Fazal and Anna Anise join forces for a double headline tour.

Blending Jon’s indie-folk baroque-pop with Anna’s earthy, Cornish folk, the tour promises an unforgettable series of performances filled with warmth, depth, and honest storytelling.

Jon Fazal’s music weaves intimate, heartfelt lyrics with lush melodies that linger long after the final note. His sound is often compared to The Kinks, Elliott Smith, and Bob Dylan. Fresh from the release of his second album Insomniac’s Ball, Jon will be performing these songs alongside favourites from his debut record After Everything.

Anna Anise is a Cornish singer-songwriter and folk musician whose music captures the spirit of her homeland - rugged, raw, and deeply heartfelt. From stories of folklore to fresh perspectives on raw emotions, Anna’s songs are a celebration of authenticity. Whether she’s crafting tender ballads or uplifting anthems that stir joy and introspection, she blends traditional folk elements with a modern twist, creating a sound that feels timeless.

Since taking part in the Endelienta Arts Cornish Language Residency in 2024, Anna’s been based at home in Cornwall immersed in her new work in Kernewek (Cornish). She started this year as an artist in residence at Halsway Manor Centre for Folk Arts developing these new songs further. Her energy is impossible to miss—sincere, uplifting, and deeply grounded.

Expect soaring harmonies, poetic lyrics, and a night of music that stirs nostalgia while opening new emotional horizons.
