Boss Morris - Finger In The Spring

Photos by Jack Pilston

Every May the mighty Stroud dwelling, all female morris troupe Boss Morris bring forth “Finger in the Spring”, their modern, annual folk ritual held in early spring to celebrate new life, creativity, and community. Once peoples wriggly digits have been dipped in the cool waters they all follow Boss Morris up through Rodborough fields to our pub at the top of a very steep hill for food, drinks, music, singing, DJ sets and dancing.

This year Jack Pilston was there with his trusty camera to capture some of the beautiful shenanigans!
