Born out of a shared love of Sri Lankan cuisine, Sri-Licious is the creation of close friends Mary and Callie.
Specialist street food dishes prepared lovingly from scratch; we’re talking kottu roti, egg hoppers, delicious short eats, adventurous sambols and a few extra special dishes too!
Environmentally conscious, their carefully chosen ingredients are sourced locally as much as possible (though sadly coconuts don’t grow in this country!) and all their packaging as is with all our food retailers , from boxes and cutlery, right down to drinking straws, is 100% compostable.
For the feeling of a proper homely Sri Lankan meal nothing beats rice and curry! The curry is always vegan and gluten free and comes with the vegetable curry itself, rice, dhal, a side vegetable and plenty of different dishes to choose from! Meat eaters are welcome to add devilled chicken as a topping if they want to!
On of their specials is egg hoppers, they are the perfect breakfast food! The hoppers are made with a batter of rice flour, yeast and coconut milk and cooked in a bowl shaped pan with an egg poached inside, they then add different sambols and chutneys catered to your palette. These can also cook these without egg for our vegan friends!
